This Privacy Policy describes how Amino Supply Co, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Amino Supply Co (“Amino Supply Co,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit aminosupplyco.com (the “Site”), purchase our products, create an account, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
This Site is intended solely for persons who are at least 21 years of age and located in the United States.
- Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
Order and contact information — name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number (optional), and the products you order.
Account information — email address, password (stored in hashed form), and order history, if you create an account.
Age and eligibility confirmations — your confirmation that you are at least 21 years old and that products are purchased for laboratory research use only.
Communications — the contents of emails, SMS messages, or other correspondence you send us, including certificate-of-analysis requests and customer-service inquiries.
Marketing sign-ups — your email address and/or mobile phone number if you opt in to marketing communications.
Information collected automatically
Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6 below. This includes strictly necessary cookies used to operate the shopping cart and checkout, and browser storage used to remember your age-gate confirmation.
Information from third parties
Payment confirmations — our payment processors and, for Zelle payments, our bank provide us confirmation of payment, limited transaction identifiers, and, for Zelle, the sender name and memo associated with a transfer.
Shipping carriers — delivery status and tracking events. - Payment Information
We do not collect or store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Cards and other online payments are processed by third-party payment processors, including Stripe, Inc. and PayPal, Inc. Your payment details are transmitted directly to and processed by those providers under their own privacy policies.
Zelle payments are made by you through your own bank or the Zelle network, outside of this Site. We receive only the information reasonably necessary to match your payment to your order (such as sender name, amount, date, and memo text).
- How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
process, fulfill, and ship your orders, including matching Zelle payments to orders;
create and administer your account;
send transactional communications such as order confirmations, payment instructions, and shipping notifications;
send marketing emails and/or text messages where you have opted in (see Section 5);
respond to your inquiries and provide customer support, including providing certificates of analysis;
verify eligibility, including age confirmation and research-use certifications;
detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, chargebacks, and security incidents;
comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, and lawful government requests; and
improve and maintain the Site and our product offering.
- Legal Bases and No Sale of Personal Information
We process your information to perform our contract with you (fulfilling orders), with your consent (marketing), to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate business interests (site operation, security, fraud prevention).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required opt-out mechanisms before doing so.
- Email and SMS Marketing
Email. If you opt in to our email list, we will send you marketing emails through our email service provider (currently Omnisend). You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us. We will continue to send transactional (non-marketing) emails related to your orders.
SMS/Text messages. If you expressly opt in to receive text messages, we will send recurring marketing and/or order-related texts using our messaging providers (currently Twilio and Omnisend). Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile numbers and opt-in records are maintained as required by applicable law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
- Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use the following categories of technologies:
Strictly necessary — session cookies and cart cookies required for the store, checkout, and account login to function. These cannot be disabled through the Site.
Preferences — browser storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) used to remember your age-gate confirmation so you are not prompted on every page.
Analytics — if we enable analytics tools, they collect aggregated usage statistics (pages viewed, session duration, approximate location derived from IP). We will update this Policy to name any such providers.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through browser settings; doing so may prevent the cart and checkout from functioning. Because there is no consistent industry standard, the Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
- How We Share Information
We share personal information only with:
Service providers that process it on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services: website hosting, payment processing (Stripe, PayPal), banking (Zelle payment receipt), shipping and delivery carriers, email marketing (Omnisend), SMS delivery (Twilio), and customer-support tooling;
Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, and attorneys, under confidentiality obligations;
Authorities and other parties where required by law — to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to enforce our Terms of Use; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Amino Supply Co, our customers, or others; and to detect and prevent fraud or illegal activity; and
A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case personal information may be transferred as a business asset subject to this Policy.
We do not permit our service providers to use your personal information for their own marketing purposes.
- Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to satisfy tax, accounting, chargeback, and other legal obligations. Order and transaction records are generally retained for at least seven (7) years. Marketing lists are retained until you unsubscribe or we delete inactive contacts. We may retain limited information as needed to honor opt-outs and suppress future contact. - Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS/SSL encryption of Site traffic, hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential. - Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and Florida’s Digital Bill of Rights), you may have the right to:
Know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
Correct inaccurate personal information;
Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax, legal-compliance, or fraud-prevention purposes);
Portability — receive a copy of personal information in a portable format;
Opt out of the sale of personal information or its sharing for targeted advertising (as stated above, we do not sell or so share personal information); and
Non-discrimination — not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at admin@aminosupplyco.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity (typically by matching the email address and order details on file) before acting on a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will require proof of the agent’s authority and verification of your identity.
California residents: because we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes, no further disclosure is required under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83).
- Age Restrictions
The Site is intended only for individuals who are at least 21 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21, and the Site is not directed to children under 13 within the meaning of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 21, we will delete it and cancel any associated orders. If you believe a person under 21 has provided us personal information, contact us at admin@aminosupplyco.com. - Third-Party Sites
The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including our affiliate-program portal (operated by BrandChamp) and payment provider sites. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit. - United States Processing
The Site is operated from, and personal information is processed and stored in, the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. - Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page, and, where required by law, we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. - Contact Us
